Cottage Food Bill

Allows the direct sale of many types of perishable foods & beverages (as well as all non-perishable foods) without needing a license or permit.

Allows sales through cooperative markets, consignment markets, and other venues (including retail stores) that do not take ownership of products.

Allows those who raise poultry to use their poultry in products without needing a license or permit.

Allows farmers to sell live animals, rabbit meat, fish, and federally-inspected meat (but not products containing those items) without needing a license or permit.

Requires extensive recordkeeping of production and sales.

Changes labeling requirements.
