Our Name

The name Lead Left Breads comes from our baker’s previous career in corporate treasury before following her passion for baking. The term “lead left” comes from investment banking, where the “lead left” bookrunner is the primary bank amongst many in a major financial deal.  It is the bank most trusted by the client to deliver the best possible outcome.  [Note:  The name Lead Left Breads is derived solely from this financial context and has no political affiliations or implications.]
