I am wondering what the Cottage Law is for making and selling freeze dried and dehydrated products. Oh and I would also like to know about CBD cannibus. Thank you

Peggy, I see you haven’t gotten any replies to your question. Why is this group not active, do you know?

Hi Pam, I did a poor job promoting the forums on this site. I’m currently making technical changes that should improve that over time, and make people more aware of them.

To answer this question, probably the best option is to use the Farm Direct Bill, but that requires someone to grow the produce themselves.

Otherwise, I’m not sure if dehydrated products would be considered a baked good under the main cottage food bill, so you’d probably need to register as a domestic kitchen, which is more complicated to setup.
