I am in the process of starting a gourmet food cart that serves fresh and healthy fare. My goal is to serve local meats and vegetables that are prepared within 24 hours of sale. This type of cooking does not fall under the cottage industry exemption, and, thus, I need a shared kitchen space to prepare food. Is anyone else in this situation where his/her operation has grown to a size where the house kitchen is not suitable for business? If so, I would love to chat about possible kitchen shares. I am located in Richmond, VA and am trying to find a shared kitchen in Richmond, VA.
