I read a news article from way back in 2012 that farmers can be exempt from the cottage food laws if they grow and process their own food on their own land. Is this true? Anyone have any links, resources, references?

We would like to make and sell our own pickles and salsas, and maybe eventually our own jams, jellies and preserves.

    Thanks,

I have never heard that for Arizona. Are you sure the article was written for Arizona? If you can’t find info online about this, then you should contact your health dept for clarification. If you find that farmers can sell homemade goods, I’d really like to know!
