    Hi! My question is this.

    Tennessee does not allow any dairy, eggs, butter or soft cheeses in frosting.

    I can’t across a recipe for Ermine Frosting substituting shortening for the called for butter.

    If I did this, would that be allowed under current Food Freedom Act?

    All of my cupcakes have some kind of dairy in the frosting, which I’m looking for new possible recipes that do not contain a ton of powdered sugar.
