When I tasted my first pound cake that is when my passion for baking truly began. I was around 9 yrs old and I tried to duplicate a pound cake because it was so good. Afterwards I tried a hand at sugar cookies and then fruit pies. My baked goods came out edible and presentable thanks to a cookbook. I continued to bake here and there for fun and share with family. Years had passed since I had fun with baking until one day I purchased a bakery book and the rest is history. I had no idea what lie ahead for me until I started baking all sorts of pastries, taking orders and getting compliments. I stayed on my adventurous baking journey and started doing some research on resources and business in the baking industry. Now I am a business owner of a CFO, a cake club Board Member and a Cake Show winner. I enjoy baking in my spare time and share some of my favorite sweets. The baking and learning has brought me much joy and I believe my passion couldn’t be any sweeter.
