They are not. I think you have to prepare them in a commercial kitchen. http://forrager.com/faq/#commercial

You need to use a commercial kitchen. You can build one in your home, but that can be very expensive. You will need to talk to the health dept about the requirements for commercial kitchens. http://forrager.com/faq/#commercial

As long as your products contain at least 75% of your own honey, you can directly sell your honey from your home, at farmers markets, farm auctions, or government festivals within Ohio. All sales must be made in-person, and no license from the ag dept is needed. For fewer restrictions, you should contact the ag dept about becoming licensed as a…[Read more]

If you add the butter and then thoroughly bake the croutons, that would definitely be allowed. If you are adding the butter after baking, it would still likely be allowed, but you should check with the ag dept.

Yes, usually handwritten labels are allowed as long as they’re legible.

No matter how small your business, you still need to go through all of the proper licensing procedures. If you can operate under the cottage food law, you wouldn’t need a permit from the ag dept, but you may need other permits. http://forrager.com/faq/#starting
Chocolate should be allowed under Ohio’s cottage food law. The only thing that could…[Read more]
