Initially, I wanted Episode 100 to be 100 minutes long. I thought that would be pretty cool.

But it was not to be. There was so much great content from the guests, that it ended up being 127 minutes long. And even still, there were some great parts that never made it into the episode!

On Episode 100, I teased that these extra audio clips were coming via a newsletter email someday. And that day is today!

1. Justina Rucinski

Justina never ceases to amaze me. Her ability to discuss extremely difficult topics with utter eloquence is insane.

Exhibit A was Episode 40, particularly starting around the 17-minute mark. If you haven't listened to that yet, you must.

Exhibit B would be her clip on Episode 100, starting at 1:04:18.

And here's Exhibit C. She talks about the consequences of her decision to appear on Lifetime, and why she decided to accept those and do it anyway. Powerful stuff.

2. April Spencer

When April initially recorded her clip for Episode 100, she was pretty ambiguous about a couple of the things she shared because she wanted to stay within the time limit I had given.

But it made me curious, so I asked her to elaborate and record another clip, and I merged about half of that into the episode (her clip starts at 1:10:08 of Episode 100).

Here's the other half, where she shares a difficult situation and what she learned from it. And for context, I've noticed that April strives to please everyone, so it was doubly difficult for her!

3. Sonia Chang

In this clip, Sonia shares more info about the Good Food Awards, what you should know if you want to participate, and what it was like for her to win one. (You can hear her Episode 100 clip starting at 09:56)

4. Diana Shockley

Actually I already shared this one with you a couple months ago, but in case you missed it, here it is again!

She shares the "golden circle" concept and how it's helped her build a team. (You can hear her Episode 100 clip starting at 06:17)

I hope you enjoyed those! By the way, this also happens with regular episodes all the time. I often have to edit away some good parts in order to get the episode down to the 1-hour mark.
