Alright, this week I published
another podcast episode with a super mom!
So many people ask me if it's possible to run a cottage food business when raising young kids. And I always say that it's very difficult, but definitely possible.
Daniela Zographos is proof of this. She runs a thriving custom cake pop business even though both of her kids are under 5 years old.
How does she do it? I'm not sure exactly, but it sounds like she doesn't get much sleep!
Daniela is a great example of how niching down (or simplifying your menu) can make your business even more successful AND easier to run!
You are going to want to hear how she:
- Legally offers pickup in retails stores even though SC doesn't allow selling in stores (she didn't want customers coming to her home)
- Gets almost all of her ingredients for free through a partnership
- Started her city's first shared commercial kitchen space
You'll be impressed by Daniela and her business. I know I was!
