How much is taken out in taxes from gross sales? Specifically for a cottage bakery selling cookies in Fl.

I would be exempt from charging and paying sales tax, as my cookies are packaged and eaten off my premises. I am asking about local and state. Do you just contact your local tax office and say you are starting a cookie business? I’m sure they’ll take care of the rest, but curious on how much will be due based on sales.

Hi, I’m in California. I make home made brittle and maple butter mixed nut products. I will be selling for the first time in a couple of weeks. I’m having Vanessa’s problem. On the Add CFO page, when I put “Pullman, WA” in the location box, I just get the spinning ball. In the region box, it just keeps showing “-select-“.
I’m looking forward to seeing my bakery on the map.-
