If I repackage USDA approved jerky do I need USDA inspection/approval for my repackaged product?

Most charitable bake sales are exempt from the requirements of food businesses. http://forrager.com/faq/#nonprofit
Anyone starting a bake sale like that should contact their health dept.David Crabill replied to the topic Trouble signing up in the forum Forrager 9 years, 6 months ago
Lauren, I’m sorry you had so many problems! I sent you an email about this.

Hi there,
Had a technical error when trying to build my new CFO page. The loading was failing for registering my region and then when I tried to register my business anyway, I received an Internal Server Error message. I also got a delivery failure when I tried to email your webmaster.Lauren Duncan joined the group Forrager 9 years, 6 months ago

Sharon, I see that you signed up for the email lists, which are actually separate from the user accounts on the site. That way, you can have a user account (with community/forum access, CFO creation, etc.) without being signed up to the newsletter or blog email lists.
To change your email settings, click the link in the bottom of any newsletter…[Read more]

It’s not always possible to have fixed prices on certain items, but if you have specific rates, you might as well be transparent about that. For the price-sensitive customer, they’ll appreciate it, and for others, it will (at…[Read more]

Hi David,
Sorry – I missed your last response! I’d be happy to discuss. Please email me at lovbakery@gmail.com.David Crabill replied to the topic delivery in the forum California 9 years, 7 months ago
I don’t understand it either.
You’ll have to check with zoning laws before you can establish a pickup area, and you may have to get some kind of permit.

I believe so, and you would definitely need to repackage it in a commercial and inspected kitchen. http://forrager.com/faq/#commercial
