It depends, but I think in most cases, it’s a good idea. Or put the prices on your website and link to that from Facebook. It’s not always possible to have fixed prices on certain items, but if you have specific rates, you might as well be transparent about that. For the price-sensitive customer, they’ll appreciate it, and for others, it will (at…[Read more]

Hi David,
Sorry – I missed your last response! I’d be happy to discuss. Please email me at lovbakery@gmail.com.David Crabill replied to the topic delivery in the forum California 8 years, 5 months ago
I don’t understand it either.
You’ll have to check with zoning laws before you can establish a pickup area, and you may have to get some kind of permit.

Charlotte, it hasn’t changed, and I don’t think it will change anytime soon. You will need to use a commercial kitchen. http://forrager.com/faq/#commercial

I don’t live in SoCal, so I can’t share the account, but I would be interested in hearing some of the price differences that you’re able to achieve.

Hi! Yes, that’s correct – I get my baking ingredients from a wholesale distributor. Most items are in bulk and are significantly cheaper than in a retail store.

I don’t think either of those would be allowed, but you can check with your environmental health dept. http://forrager.com/faq/#commercial

Just to clarify, you are using them to source your ingredients? I assume that is less expensive than stores?

Hello! I have a Class B CFO located in West Los Angeles. I currently have an account with KeHe/Nature’s Best for wholesale natural food items. I have to pickup in Chino Hills and maintain a minimum biweekly order. Is anybody in or near West LA interested in sharing the account? Ideally, we’d take turns driving. Thanks!

I left some more info in my response to your comment on the law page, but basically, the relationships you establish with customers are everything. My suggestion would be to wait until this is actually a problem before worrying about it.
