Did you see anywhere that indicates that they would not be allowed? I would think they’d be fine to use, as long as the resulting product is nonperishable.

Selling peanuts in North Florida, south of Jacksonville.
From all that I can find out peanuts are exempt from most license requirements.
Except of course, bookkeeping. Track your sales, ect.

Hey everyone! Any of you sell cupcakes? If so, where are you purchasing your cupcake boxes from? I’m looking for a non-Amazon alternative for supplies.

It depends on what state you live in. 18 states allow in-state shipping. Most of the people selling homemade food on Etsy are doing so illegally.

Bags would certainly be less expensive than bottles.
The thing to compare would be bulk prices on small zipper-closure bags versus some kind of bag where you would use a heat (“impulse”) sealer. For my baked goods, I use plastic food bags and a heat sealer ($30 – $50 on Amazon). Of course, you could use something like a Foodsaver or…[Read more]

Can anyone tell me: With a Home processors exemption in NY am I able to:1) Make and sell crostatas?(technically a one crust pie, though it can be folded in a way that covers most of the top).2) Am I allowed to make caramel corn using caramel that I Made from goats milk? 3) Is ganache allowed since it has been shown to be room temp safe up to two…[Read more]

It would not be allowed. You would need to use a commercial kitchen to prepare a meal.
