What is the best way to package scones to ensure the longest freshness without getting soft or too hard? In plastic? In a box similar to a donut box?

Do any of you, out there, know of any sources for pre-printed product labels that aren’t massively more expensive than just using your own laser printer and sheets of blank labels? Often a garage, similar to an outbuilding, is not considered part of the home kitchen, but some areas aren’t very strict about that. It really depends on the local regulatory agency and what they decide to allow. I would expect your state of Idaho to be much less strict about it, overall.
