Salutations to all of you.
Let’s discuss the packaging of tobacco products and how it might encourage consumers to make better decisions. The way these items are marketed to customers needs to be reconsidered as public awareness of the dangers of smoking increases.
I think that instead of glamorising tobacco smoking, packaging should make it…[Read more]

Can South Carolina sell bake goods online? Can we ship across state lines? I was told we can but when we do we have to file something like deduction tax exemption.

I’ve been selling spices and tea from home for 6+ years. Recently I was asked to supply a gift shop with tea. If I package my tea in an inspected kitchen, could I do this? Or am I not allowed because I already sell from home?

I’m a “newby” in Forrager! Very excited too! I make gluten free items specifically due to my own diet restrictions. I make a lot of Fudge and I use various size tins lined with wax paper or foil. I’ve always had luck with that. I’ve been reading everything I can to become knowledgeable about what is allowed and not. I hope my packaging is…[Read more]

Actually I think you will find that setting a schedule will increase your business! With bread it’s pretty easy, because people typically want bread on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. Most cottage bread bakers choose a pickup/delivery day of the week, and then have the same baking schedule every week. It’s your business, you make the rules……[Read more]

Hi, I am a artisan bread baker in Northern California (Benicia). Here’s my biggest challenge baking from home (no storefront, etc): My customers set my schedule and not the other way around! I find myself “on demand” of my customers. I love them, but really, I should be setting the schedule. I am afraid if I set too restrictive parameters I…[Read more]
