I have a question about selling pickles at my local farmers market on the Big Island – after looking at the food that’s prohibited ( sauerkraut, kimchi, pickles?!) What are the most current (2021 ) allowed foods and if pickles are not included why not? I use a 5% vinegar which is the recommended strength even for commercial manufacturing

I recently saw this on BakeDeco Coupons at reecoupons, there is a huge discount available on it, but at that time I didn’t know about it, after reading your post I came to know it’s a very useful product for baking, now I am thinking to buy it.

Hey everyone! Any of you sell cupcakes? If so, where are you purchasing your cupcake boxes from? I’m looking for a non-Amazon alternative for supplies.

Otherwise, I’m not sure if…[Read more]

With summer farmers market registrations already starting and the season creeping up on us, I am putting out a new and improved Masterclass to help new vendors and seasoned vendors alike. I will be sharing tips on how to make the most out of your booth setup, how COVID has changed how markets are run and what that means as a vendor, what to expect…[Read more]

It depends on what state you live in. 18 states allow in-state shipping. Most of the people selling homemade food on Etsy are doing so illegally.

As far as I know, the rules for Hawaii haven’t changed recently. The reason many states don’t allow canned foods is due to botulism concerns, which could potentially be deadly. Canned foods, when properly prepared, are perfectly safe, but their concern is that a home cook might not properly prepare them. I’m not saying that I agree with the…[Read more]
