You should probably check with a lawyer or someone in Tallahassee, just in case, but, as far as I know, when you register the name of your LLC on Sunbiz, it’s already done, but a DBA is a separate thing if you are using a name other than your own without having an LLC (or Inc).

Hi, I am looking into shipping peanut brittle and found that shipping charges to be quite expensive (almost more than the product itself. lol) via USPS priority service. If you ship your product, what method do you use? do you like it? Any receommedations? Thank you.

I’ve shipped my fudge and I do use USPS flat rate boxes. I don’t do this as part of my business, since CA doesn’t allow shipping, so my experience is limited and I haven’t tried to optimize the process much. Selling peanuts in North Florida, south of Jacksonville.
From all that I can find out peanuts are exempt from most license requirements.
Except of course, bookkeeping. Track your sales, ect.

Yes, Florida is one of the only states I know of that has a special exemption for boiled peanuts. Must be a big thing down there! :)
