Hi! I recently started my cookie business and signed up for a TPT. I went onto my states tax website and it shows me classified as retail 027, use tax 029, and retail sales for home consumption 062. Does that sounds familiar for anyone else?

From my personal experience, Square is a great system although they do not offer bookkeeping. They will do most everything else from POS to scheduling to payroll to “banking”, etc. Although for our business we just use it for POSS, scheduling, and savings. They will do the item…[Read more]

Hi! My question is this.
Tennessee does not allow any dairy, eggs, butter or soft cheeses in frosting.
I can’t across a recipe for Ermine Frosting substituting shortening for the called for butter.
If I did this, would that be allowed under current Food Freedom Act?
