I live in Warner Robins, Ga, I have a cat and want to start a cottage food business selling cakes, cookies and candies. You need to make sure the cat isn’t in your kitchen while you’re preparing food for your business. I’m not sure if the inspector will ask you to demonstrate how you will keep your cat from accessing your kitchen, but simply putting it outside or in a room while making your items would probably suffice.
