The bill, AB 1144, passed. CFOs can ship their products within CA starting in 2022.

Just want to chime in that having a seller’s permit will also allow you to purchase some items with tax exemption. Make sure to ask the places you purchase packagings and equipment from to see if they have something like that. A good place to keep costs down.

Are you sure that you can’t do this from your home kitchen? I’d recommend you contact the ag dept to see if it’s something you can do from your home kitchen, as that would be much easier and less expensive. Got it. Is that something you heard directly from an inspector, or are you just going with what they’ve posted online? Sometimes inspectors can be more lenient about that.
