I don’t live in SoCal, so I can’t share the account, but I would be interested in hearing some of the price differences that you’re able to achieve.

Hi! Yes, that’s correct – I get my baking ingredients from a wholesale distributor. Most items are in bulk and are significantly cheaper than in a retail store.

I don’t think either of those would be allowed, but you can check with your environmental health dept. http://forrager.com/faq/#commercial

Just to clarify, you are using them to source your ingredients? I assume that is less expensive than stores?

Hello! I have a Class B CFO located in West Los Angeles. I currently have an account with KeHe/Nature’s Best for wholesale natural food items. I have to pickup in Chino Hills and maintain a minimum biweekly order. Is anybody in or near West LA interested in sharing the account? Ideally, we’d take turns driving. Thanks!

Yes, you would need a permit. I believe it would be the same permit that you’d need if you were actually making the cookies and bread.

Yes, you should be able to sell from your home, assuming you have your landlord’s permission.

1. No, but you need the landlord’s permission.
2. Yes
3. Usually basic stuff, like cleanliness, proper hot water and fridge temps, plus making sure you know how to sanitize things. It will probably be easier than you’re expecting.Searcy Lewis joined the group Vending Locations to sell Baked Goods 9 years, 10 months ago

Sorry, I’m not sure, but I know that it wouldn’t fall under the cottage food law. You should contact the health dept for more info.
