Not sure I am in the right place, but I have a general law question. Are there any states that currently allow cottage food operators to prep baked goods in a commercial/shared kitchen under the same license?

Hi, I am planning to make European style crepes at home. I will be using eggs and sour cream as well. Are those ingredients allowed if I want to sell crepes from home? I will be using the delivery channels to reach the end-consumers.

2. Since those other items are not things that you produced under the cottage-food law, you may need to check with your county or municipality because the sale of…[Read more]Levi started the topic Selling out of front yard? in the forum Florida 7 months ago
I have a great location and I was wanting to sell out of my front yard. Specifically I’m wanting to sell cooked peanuts, which look like they’re an item that’s allowed under cottage laws. However I have some questions.
1. Can I sell out of my front yard? The food would be made in my house, but I’d like to have the stands where I sell in my front…[Read more]
