Hi Anna, you have all the resources to build a website right here in Forrager. I used David Crabill’s video and created my own website, and so can you. Just go to the menu, choose resources & then pick learn. Find the lesson for Square Online & follow David’s instructions. He breaks it down so you can understand it & do it yourself. I’ve recently started off a Cupcake business for myself and I really need a website done as most of my customers are struggling to find my business on the web. I just need a website which can showcase the different sweets and everything I bake and maybe even a direct purchasing page. Anyone has any suggestions?

David Crabill replied to the topic Business License Required? in the forum Florida 3 years, 6 months ago
It depends on your county/city. If they require business licenses, usually they require them for any type of food business. The only way to know for sure is to contact the dept that administers business licenses.

I can’t remember… do they ask for a NAICS code?
If so, then it depends on your business, but most cottage foods businesses would use either code 445291 (Baked Goods Stores) or 445292 (Confectionary and Nut Stores).
Here’s the link: https://www.naics.com/naics-code-description/?code=4452

There’s still no information on the ag dept’s webpage that says you can or can’t sell homemade extracts. I’d recommend reaching out to them and they will likely have an answer: https://agr.georgia.gov/cottage-foods.aspx

Hi Heather, I was looking at making extracts and was wondering if you found any more information.

Getting pounded by rain unfortunately. Just applied for my license and looking for local resources who have already walked this path.
