well I would love to know where I fall into the cottage laws in NM. I basically will be a personal chef in my clients home/kitchen. I will cook and prepare all foods for the tea party in my clients home. I will bring all my own cooking and baking utensils. Since it doesn’t happen in your own home, and you’re cooking specifically for someone else, that doesn’t relate to cottage food laws. You would be working with the health dept to get licensed as a personal chef, I think. Beyond that, I don’t know much about the requirements for becoming a personal chef.
