So I’m just clarifying : I can sell cakes , cupcakes etc from my kitchen as long as I follow all procedures without having inspectors come to my house as long as I do not make over 15,000 a year ? Also do I have to use my real name or can I setup a separate Facebook page under a different name that I will use for this in particular ? And am I allowed to do charity events ?
Yes, you don’t need a kitchen inspection. Assuming that your county/city will require a business license, you can create a fictitious business name instead of operating under your own name. You should be able to do charity events as long as you follow the same procedures as you do when selling products for your own profit.
