You don’t need any permit from the ag dept to sell kettle corn in-person or to grocery stores and restaurants, but there may be local requirements, like a business license. Also, you probably can’t sell anywhere, since zoning laws restrict where business activities can take place. http://forrager.com/faq/#starting

Just wondering if anyone has any advice on selling baked goods at local flea/farmer’s markets? I know that produce sells pretty well, but I’ve not seen a lot of baked goods (not here in AK anyways). Kathleen, it depends on your state, but if the state only allows direct sales, the likelihood is that you cannot offer CFO products. CFOs are often explicitly not food facilities, and food facilities cannot offer their products for sale.
