Yes you can do both. You just can’t have someone else sell or deliver them for you. So as long as you personally hand the product to the customer, and they don’t resell it, you’re good to go.

I was hoping to get more clarification on the topic around meats and cheeses for cottage law so I have a better understanding of it. Hi Lotte,
I am new to this forum but I saw this post and wanted to connect! I am also based in Davis and have a CFO here! Did you ever open your business? If you’re STILL waiting for answers, I can answer some of these if needed. If you have opened your business and you’re still in the Davis area, I’d love to connect for coffee sometime!

Hi! I found this site after listening to “The baking for business” podcast. I’d like to find information on how to introduce a bill to our legislator. I saw that Texas just passed an amazing one and I’d like to try that here. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Sorry if this has already been asked, I’m still trying to figure this site out.

CFO as an LLC in California
Hello folks, my husband and I started a CFO (Class A) in Alameda County in California in 2023. We had formed an LLC and applied for the LLC to be a CFO.
Today, I was informed by the Department of Environmental Health that California Law strictly prohibits a CFO to be an LLC. Has anyone had a similar concern? I would…[Read more]- Load More
Hi Deeksha, I have not heard of this before but just did some research and it seems like that IS the case. Have you spoken with anyone at the Small Business Development Center (SBDC)? They might have someone who have more insight. You can also look into if you qualify for Start Small Think Big and they can offer pro-bono legal advice.
