I was wondering how does one find small, local cottage food vendors for public events? All the professional bakers I know are the bake shop variety. I am organizing a public event in Bethesda and would really like a woman baker or jam/jellies maker to attend it. I just do not know how to find and approach one. Please help.

It depends upon the laws for your state. I use PayPal Here or my road side produce stand since I already utilized the PayPal invoice service for my personal chef clients. So far, Ive been very happy with it.
