PERFECT! Thanks! This is exactly what I needed! Do you know of any groups/people in FL that have started a movement already? This article suggests to do a thorough search to see if there are any others. I’m just not sure where to start on that either. :-/

I would like to know where to begin about getting the legislation changed in FL regarding our guidelines. Any suggestions? There’s a large community of bakers who have a passion for baking but our limits for sales is on a hobby level. I need some clarification about taking orders…. it states “direct sales only”

Often sales tax is required at a local level and exempted at a state level, but I’ve heard a lot of different things about Florida. You could try doing a Google search for cottage food law petitions. I don’t know of anyone currently working on Florida’s law.
