Almost all states have exemptions for selling certain types of homemade, if all proceeds go to a nonprofit or similar cause. This group is for those who want to provide homemade food for their community without making any profit for themselves.

miaDoes this law apply to nonprofits as well. I work for the girl scouts and we are thinking of having a bake sale with our girls. Do we have to register first to be able to hold our bake sale? Also, is there restrictions of where we can set up?
