    I am just starting out with selling some baked goods. What would you suggest is the best way to determine whether I sell to restaurants and grocery stores or to individuals? I will be using a residential kitchen.

    Usually restaurants and grocery stores are more lucrative if you can get them to carry your products. Most startups just do whatever they can get their hands on, or whatever they have the time for. Selling to individuals takes less time and effort, and can be more rewarding because you develop relationships with your customers. But it just depends on what you want for your business… if you want it to eventually be a full-time thing, you’ll probably want to move into more established venues as soon as possible.
