I am starting to do more business in the area and all of our products are baked in a home kitchen at this time. We are getting pretty close to going over the $1,000 limit, but don’t have access to a commercial kitchen. We’re trying to get our own location to bake out of, but we are waiting on financing. What happens if we exceed the $1,000 monthly limit while still baking out of a home kitchen?

The health dept could fine you, but I’m not sure if they will take immediate action. But once you go over the limit you are no longer operating as a home kitchen operation.

Here are some ideas for finding a commercial kitchen: http://forrager.com/faq/#commercial-kitchen
