Service Club Bake Sales

    In Sarasota County, are service clubs like the Elks, VFW, Knights, Moose allowed to have bake sales? These would be food items made by members at their home and brought into the club for the baked good item to be sold at the bake/sale fundraiser in the club. The proceeds from the bake sale / fundraiser would then be distributed to not for profit organizations in the community.

    Bake sales like this may be possible, but it’s up to your health dept to draw the lines for what’s allowed.
