    Tom

I would like to sell caramel apples in a bowl at a fresh market in Pasco county. Would this fall under the cottage law? the apples would be sliced and decored on site and the caramel does not have to be heated it is served at room temp.. I would be selling at events that are one or two days. The 15,000 limit I would not get close to. Thanks

Tom, the caramel is fine, but cutting the apple is not. Cut fruit is not a cottage food unless it is baked or prepared in such a way that it no longer needs refrigeration. You need a regular food license to do this.
