Cottage Foods Regulations – Colorado Stakeholder meetings this month!

    PLEASE JOIN US FOR THIS IMPORTANT MEETING REGARDING COTTAGE FOOD REGULATION IN COLORADO!

    Valued Stakeholder,

    The Division of Environmental Health and Sustainability is convening the third in a series of stakeholder meetings (SHM) to discuss proposed revisions to the Rules and Regulations Governing Cottage Food Producers in the State of Colorado, 6 CCR 1010‐15. As indicated in our email of November 30, 2015, the meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, January 5, 2016, from 9:00 am to 1:45 pm in Building C at the CDPHE main campus.

    The meeting can also be attended remotely through a conference call and webinar. If you are planning to attend the meeting in person at CDPHE, please respond to this message and include the number of people who will be joining you, if applicable. This will help us assure we have reserved an adequately sized room. Additional details for the meeting are provided below:

    Attendees must sign‐in at the security desk on the 1st floor of the main building (Building A) before proceeding to the conference room. There is ample free visitor parking on campus clearly indicated with signage.

    The Meeting Notes resulting from Stakeholder Meeting #2 were included in the November 30, 2015 email and are attached below. Also, the Summary of Changes From SHM #2 112015, the Proposed Regulation for SHM #3 010516 , and the Agenda for Stakeholder Meeting #3 are provided as attachments to this email.

    In an effort to reach out to new stakeholders and provide an additional informational resource for existing ones, the Department has created and implemented a Cottage Food Regulation Development webpage. The webpage provides all Department deliverables generated as a result of the stakeholder meetings, as well as guidance documents and general information.
