When to use a barcode?

    Hi All,

    I’m getting a class B license and was wondering if anyone out there got a bar code for their products. I hope to sell my snacks in small local retail stores–has anyone done this and found they needed a barcode in order to be considered?

    I haven’t heard of someone getting a barcode, but I’m sure it has been necessary for some indirect sales. If it were me, I’d wait until you have deals with the retail stores, and they can let you know if you need a barcode. They may not require one, or they may put a sticker on themselves.
