Hi there,

Being an entrepreneur is hard. (Like, REALLY hard!)

Cottage food laws are often confusing, but that's not the only thing that confuses entrepreneurs.

There are SO MANY things you have to think about when starting a food business.

So I'm currently expanding Forrager to be about more than just legal stuff.

To start, I created a "Top 10 Mistakes" PDF guide to help beginners. (AKA the top 10 mistakes I've personally made over the years!)

Check it out here: Download the Top 10 Mistakes To Avoid When Starting A Cottage Food Business

Do you think it's helpful? Are there any mistakes that I forgot to mention? Have you made some of them yourself?

I already have a few ideas rolling around in my head of things I could create next. I'll narrow it down to three options next week, so you can vote on which one you like best.

David

P.S. Kudos to Nebraska and Maryland for getting a little bit greener on Forrager's map! Their new laws went into effect recently, and both amendments were significant enough to bump them from "okay" to "good".
