Hi there,

You need to listen to this week's podcast episode. It's a big one!

And that's not just because it's Episode #40.

I've been wanting to have Justina Rucinski on the podcast for awhile now.

As you may already know, she was sexually assaulted in her home when a man came to pay for a cookie order.

Her story has been the impetus for changing cottage food labeling requirements around the country.

Rather than digging into the details of her horrific experience, I wanted this episode to be a celebration of what Justina has accomplished both before and after that event.

So if you'd like to familiarize yourself with the details of that disturbing day, you can read this news article.

And even if you've read every article about what happened, there's no replacement for hearing Justina herself talk about her recovery.

This episode was very raw and emotional at times, but it was very real and authentic. And it's got to be the most captivating episode yet.

Most importantly, it shows the power of our little cottage food industry to come together to lift someone out of utter darkness.

Listen to Episode 40: The Resilient Baker with Justina Rucinski

Until next week,

David

P.S. Don't have time to listen to the whole episode? Skip ahead to the 17 minute mark.
