Hi there,
First, my
Email Marketing 101 online workshop starts in just 5 hours at 11am PT / 2pm ET!
So far, well
over 100 people have signed up!
It took me many years to start an email list for Forrager. I wish I had started one much sooner.
I learned my lesson though. When I started my fudge business a couple years ago, I
started building an email list immediately, and it paid off.
I listen to some entrepreneurship podcasts, and their guests always say the same thing: "I waited too long to start an email list."
I think that's partly because email marketing never seems urgent. It's an "anytime" task, and as we know, something that can happen anytime, happens no time!
Make no mistake about it:
email marketing is an essential part of your marketing toolbox. The best time to start using it was last year. The next best time is today.
Click Here To Sign Up for the Email Marketing WorkshopI also just published a
new podcast episode with Erica Smith from the Institute for Justice.
As I mentioned in last week's email,
Erica wants to hear from you if your cottage food law restricts you from selling online or shipping in-state, and if you've therefore lost some business during this coronavirus pandemic. You can email her at
[email protected].
So I brought her on the podcast to talk about
what cottage food businesses can do to improve their laws, both now and into the future.
We also talked about many of the recent law changes that she and the Institute for Justice have been involved in, including
Wyoming's fantastic new amendment, and its quirky "same shelf" restriction.
You'll also learn why Erica is so passionate about this industry, and why the Institute for Justice keeps focusing on it.
Listen to Episode 6: How to Improve Your Cottage Food Law with Erica SmithI hope to see you in a few hours
in the chatroom!
David
P.S.
If you can't attend the workshop live, go ahead and
sign up anyway, and I'll send you the replay when it's available.
