Hi there,

First off, here is the announcement of the winners for last week's giveaway:
Thanks for everyone who joined last week's workshop, and congrats to the winners!

This week, I published another podcast episode with a pie baker (the last one was way back in Episode 4!*).

Do you feel like life is getting in the way of running your business? (it feels like that all the time for me, now that I have kids!)

That's exactly what happened to Kourtney -- for 8 YEARS!

She had lofty ideas of starting a pie business back in 2011, but she was busy at her job, then got married, had kids, etc.

But kudos to her -- she never gave up on the idea of running her own business someday.

And that day came in 2019, when she had the time to give her pie business a solid effort.

Today (only two years later), her business is doing amazingly well! She sells over 100 pies per week (that's a lot of pies!) and has over 3k Instagram followers.

How did she do it? Well, you're just going to have to listen to the episode to find out!

Until next week,
David

* Behind the scenes podcast intel: Episode 4 was the only podcast interview I've done in-person. Diana came over to my house, and we recorded it in the dining room (that's why the audio quality is a bit different/worse in that episode). We weren't wearing masks, as that was just before the pandemic hit us, so that tells you how long ago it was!
