Hi there,
Holy smokes! We're only two days into
the conference, and there's
already 100+ conversations happening in the forums, not to mention the discussions happening in meetups, private messages, and the sessions themselves.
It's great to see our community come together! If you haven't joined yet, it's
still not too late to sign up! Once you join, you'll get access to the replays of everything that's already happened. As a reminder, my keynote kicks off tomorrow (Thursday) at 11am PT / 1pm CT.
Click here to join the conferenceDespite the conference being underway*, I decided to stay on my podcast schedule and I just published
another great episode this week.
As you'll see,
Emily's entrepreneurial journey is quite unique! For one, her cottage food business
focuses on class parties at schools. So she markets to parents, but delivers her products (mostly cupcakes) directly to their kids' school. Very unique indeed.
But also, I don't think I've had someone on the show who has had their hand
in so many different aspects of the food industry. If you listen to my intro, you'll see why I later referred to her industry experience as "many lifetimes of work".
Emily is also the first person I've had on the show that is actually in the process of
franchising her business model to a second city!It all sounds great, but it's come with plenty of challenges as well, and Emily's open and transparent nature reveals
all aspects of her very unique story.
Listen to Episode 86: Anything Is Possible with Emily VanlandinghamUntil next week,
David
* If you're bogged down in the conference, fret not... I'll remind you about this episode next week too. :)
