I get a lot of questions about starting a cottage food business.

But by far, the #1 question I get is along the lines of "How do I get started? I have no idea what to do!"

So I've decided to create a free mini-course to address that question, and hopefully give beginners some kind of road map.

Could I get your help? I'm wondering what topics I should cover, and in what order.

Here are the topics I'm thinking about:
1. Understand your cottage food law / find product(s) to sell
2. Food safety training / prepare your kitchen
3. Validate your product idea
4. Setup your cottage food business (licenses, permits, insurance, etc)
5. Setup Facebook, Instagram, and email
6. Create your website / setup domain name

Did I miss any steps? Are those in the right order? How did you start your business?
