I make jams and preserves, but I also make soaps and other bath products which I plan to sell at a local market under appropriate licensure for Florida. I was wanting to sell my jams and perserves under the Cottage Food Law as a side product. We also do dry roasted coffee, but as I understand it, we cannot sell or give away samples of brewed coffee under the Cottage Food Law. Is this correct? A little confused on some places I’ve been reading where it talks about letting customers sample products and “suddenly becoming a restaurant” where we’d need all sorts of licensure . . . yikes! Any help appreciated, thanks!
