    I hope you can answer a few questions. Can you sell from a stand on your property? I am in Nassau County, can’t seem to find anything about cottage food laws in my area.
    I believe porch pick up is not allowed, but would that be the same as having a stand to sell items on a regular basis?
    I can sell double crusted pies, but cannot add fruit/veggies to bake into breads? I can have chocolate chips in cookies but nothing drizzled or dipped in chocolate?
    These seem quite contrary, I know, but I needed to ask someone who knows the ins and outs of cottage food laws. If it’s cooked in why can’t it be allowed? Why can’t it be stated that it is shelf stable for a couple of days but best if kept in fridge to last longer/keep fresh? I understand contamination, bacteria, etc., but there’s always a way to get through that, eat within a day or two or refrigerate, right or wrong? Genuinely curious on this. Thank you.
