    New direction
Its hard to admit when an area is suppressive and still working on an old idea. But it’s a great place to live. Often you have to roll with the area and put aside the new.
No biggie, going wit the flow can often be a revelation. My experience with the flea market was just that, an eye opener. While my baked goods got raves and private orders, a location was just not in the stars.
So having a 28 acre wild berry farm turned out to be the next logical step.and one that’s slow is going but will be worth it.
Working with the PickTn organization we are making fresh preserves, using the cottage foods jams/jellies guidelines. Our products will be traveling with PickTn, we have turned our farm to a Upick fresh fruit location, and we pick and flash freeze our pickings daily unless someone orders fresh and they will pick it up at the end of the day. We arrange for
all fresh fruit pickup at 8 pm daily.
I would still love to do my bakery, but I think private orders and special contracts would
be something more logical. But that’s something I am not sure how to do. so any help with that would be grateful.
