Hi there,
I am a french pastry chef. It’s a long story but I will try to make it short.
Basically a friend’s let me rent his kitchen, therefore I created a business LLC, got a tax id number a business license, an occupational license. Now my friend cannot let me use his kitchen anymore and I am wondering what do I need to do in order to put my business as cottage food business?
I am confused and I do not know what to do, I worked hard for a year, and now all is is suspended because of that. All of your help is very much appreciated, thank you.
You need to find another commercial kitchen to cook from, since the current law in LA doesn’t allow pastries, so you can’t make the products at home. You can ask the health dept what commercial kitchens might be available around you.
