I am from California and i need some help with starting my cottage business. We are going to be selling Roasted Almond Toffee. I see that you have down that a website is an approved way to sell cottage products. I would like to know if you can give me the reference for that information. I’m ready to put up my website but am a bit leery that this is going against the law in California. Can you help me get more comfortable with this? Thank you

You can see the CDPH’s clarification in question 9 of their FAQs. The last sentence in that question, about selling outside your county, is no longer true for direct sales, which can now be made anywhere within the state.
