Is salsa eligible?

    Hi David – thank you so much for putting all of this together. I currently make (but do not yet sell) jams and jellies. I would like to sell salsa at craft fairs later on. From what I have read on your site here, salsa would not be eligible for the class A cottage food permit. Is my assumption correct?

    That’s correct — salsa is not allowed.

    Thanks David – even though it wasn’t the answer I wanted to hear ;). What kind of license would I need to obtain to be able to sell homemade salsa at fairs and festivals?
